(NAPSI)—“Thanksgiving is the biggest foodstuffs holiday of the year, but
preparing the feast doesn’t have to be stressful if you understand a few simple
tips,” says Sara Moulton, chef, cookbook prime mover and TV host of “Sara’s
Weeknight Meals” on PBS.
“First, determine what kind and what size of turkey you’re going to buy,”
says Moulton. She recommends buying 1 clobber of bird per person, to allow for
leftovers. “If you’re buying a frozen bird, note when to start defrosting itMost of allin the fridge—you’ll need 24 hours for every 4 to 5 pounds,” she says.

The wisdom of Phi Noi
12.09.11
Each blackness, Phi Noi, the cook at Khun Nuch's home would prepare a dinner reminiscent of the classic way Thai families used to cook and eat. I found myself ending our photo sessions earlier each afternoon, so that I could prowl into the kitchen and watch her cook. Alas, she was so meticulous and organised that by the previously I got to the kitchen, all I could see were the final stages of her cooking.
Since that visit, I often brown study of spending time to cook with and learn from Phi Noi. And so it was that for four days in July of this year, I was again invited to be a caller of Khun Nuch, who granted my wish to cook with Phi Noi.
The Thai-rage kitchen on the lower floor as well as the guest room I once stayed in was distressfully damaged by the flood at the beginning of the year. Khun Nuch arranged for me to visit at her husband's office compound close to the centre of borough.
To call the grand spread of Khun Dulphichai's compound an charge does not do justice to the architectural design for which her husband is celebrated. Hidden at the end of a small and non-descriptive lane is a cluster of innocent-washed buildings designed to emulate early Ayutthaya architecture. It is a series of buildings with screw hand-made tile roofs facing numerous courtyards all connected by roofed walkways adorned with potted bonsai.
