What does my ice cream scoop have in it?

I have an ice cream scoop that has some sort of chemical inside it in liquid form and it makes the ice cream easier to scoop somehow. Any ideas on what's in it?


possibly salt water, salt water has a lower freezing point than water, it could keep the metal warmer than the ice cream so the ice cream would slightly melt as the scoop passed through the ice cream making it easier to scoop. possibly

Perry's Ice Cream is the "Documented Ice Cream" of the Buffalo Bills and the commemorative ice cream flavor originally introduced in 2008 is getting a makeover to exhibit the Bills new helmet design. Buffalo Bills Brownie Blitz features extra French vanilla ice cream with laces of fudge and brownie pieces.

"When the new Bills look was released this summer, we with all speed noticed the fans affection towards the new helmet. We decided the helmet had to be main to our package re-design. The vintage design mixed with the charging Buffalo makes for a stalwart look on our package that screams, 'Go Bills!'" said Nichole Buryta, companion product manager, Perry's Ice Cream.

"We are always looking for unique ways to amalgamate our partners into the Bills brand," said Bruce Popko, Bills chief vice president of business development. "The new Bills Brownie Blitz packaging and Bills Photo Blitz advancement with Perry's Ice Cream provides a fun opportunity to engage and interact with our fans."

Swizzles offers the latest scoop in frozen yogurt

At Swizzles Frozen Yogurt, the first obsession that greets you is the shiny steel “serve yourself” machine. After you fill your cup with your favorite yogurt, next up are several varieties of toppings to pick out from — ranging from fruit and granola to M&Ms and gummy bears.

“I determined to go self-serve because it is so much fun for the customers,” said Adam Kessner, fail and CEO of the company, which recently opened a Wilton store at 5 River Avenue. “It’s the first time in history that the customer can pull the guide themselves on the ‘ice cream’ machine. Kids and adults paramour it.”

The self-serve machine has the benefit of “allowing the patron to control their portion size and not have to rely on anyone else to create the reliable frozen yogurt for them. They can do it all by themselves,” Mr. Kessner said.

At the Wilton trust in, six flavors are now available: “vanilla, chocolate, dry batter, cookies and cream, original, and strawberry lemonade sorbet,” said Mr. Kessner. “You can mix anything you would like and sire whatever you would like. Our most popular flavors are vanilla and cake disfigure. They truly are delicious.”

When Kings Island opened in 1972, one of the amusement industry’s most famous snack foods came to be. Hanna-Barbera was a staple at the park up through the 2009 season, including favorites such as Scooby Doo, the Flintstones and the Smurfs. Thanks to that connection, a trip to Kings Island wasn’t complete without “Smurfberry” ice cream, also known as a “Smurf cone”.

Now commonly referred to as the simpler “blue ice cream”, the snack is a must have for every Kings Island visit. Although by technical standards it is actually imitation ice cream, the blueberry-flavored treat is only served at Kings Island. The original location, a stand now known as “Ice Cream”, stands on the edge of the former Nickelodeon Universe, right near the old Smurf ride. Kings Island has also expanded the ice cream to a second location in Action Zone, known as Ice Scream Zone.

While the park still serves other flavors of ice cream as well as traditional hard scoop at a location on International Street, the blue ice cream has become a delight and tradition for millions of Kings Island’s visitors.
