Fresh American. Expect straightforward renditions of classics — salads, sandwiches and pizzas. And stockpile the weekends for brunch. The team is famous for brioche French cheers and eggs Benedict. Prices are neighborhood friendly with most sandwiches and salads $11-$15 and mains under $20. They’ve retained a few Joe Allen menu staples like the La Scala salad made with salami, provolone and chickpeas and the Rice Krispies afters.

Dinner service includes a complimentary basket of feathery ciabbata with whipped butter. Daily breakfast includes an egg-pasty tortilla and crab cake with poached eggs and asparagus. There are nine sandwiches on the lunch menu, all of which are generously portioned and served with fries, coleslaw or a springy mix of dwelling-place salad. The turkey burger is jazzed up with mango fancy and bacon while the steak pita is topped with feta cheese and a small fortune sour cream dressing. Pizzas are extremely thin and available with barbecued chicken, goat cheese and roasted vegetables. Mains comprise luxury food like meatloaf, roast chicken and a vegetarian curry work oneself up into a sweat.

Retiring chamber director honored with party

Pikesville Congress of Commerce : Sherri Becker, who has served as the dedicated, motivated president director of the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce for the past nine and a half years, was honored and prearranged tribute at a surprise cocktail reception recently after little talk of her sudden, unexpected retirement.

This special kudos anyway in the reality was attended by many chamber members, family and friends, at the Hilton Pikesville.

Sherri, hired to employment part time, put mega hours into building up this prestigious concern organization in our Pikesville community. Very pleasant and personable to exertion with, she had dedicated, efficient volunteers that put many hours into staffing the Pikesville assembly office.

Sherrie, in addition to having the cooperation of the senate of commerce office staffers, built camaraderie - uniting our subject community and residents living in our Northwest area.

An added perk for our community were the many exciting and fun events she and her volunteers planned. She brought together a network of businesses, schools, the cops and fire departments, churches, synagogues/temples, residents in our northwest community, and anything and everything that would extras its businesses and community. She and her staff volunteers were all dedicated committed winners!
