Why does my Kenmore stackable washer spin out of control?

I have a Kenmore stackable washer about 3 years old and every spin cycle it spins out of control. The bucket hits the side and bangs and makes the whole washer move. I have tried smaller loads, im about to try it empty and see what happens. I do know that the washer is not level from front to back.

Can that cause this? Does anyone have any idea what it can be?

All help would be great as we have just purchased this a couple months back.

more than likely your springs are broken or bad. go to www.searspartsdirect.com put your model # in and go the section marked base. it will show the springs. yours probably have ones that look like shock absorbers on a car they are that large. they costs about 80.00 each. you can buy them online and fix yourself if you have a handyman that can help you or you can call around to your local appliance parts store and purchase them.

HE2 stackable Kenmore washer/dryer shaking is loud/disturbing ...

We had been huge fans of the Kenmore brand and have several Kenmore appliances in the house.  Very disappointed in the stackable Kenmore HE2 Plus 3.2 cap Washer and HE2 Dryer.  Fortunately when we had Sears stack them we did not attach them to the wall because they would have put holes in the wall with all the shaking they do throughout their cycles.  Our pair is stacked WITHOUT A PEDESTAL.  The shaking is loud and anyone visiting in the house is disturbed by the racket they make.  Also we've noticed that many times the dryer cycle ends before the amount of time we punched in.  A 40 minute cycle may actually just run 20 minutes.  We think the dryer thinks the load is already dry and that's why it shuts down early.  Many times we have to run another dryer cycle to get the load dry.  Sometimes the washer does not spin and the wash is sopping wet when the cycle ends (we keep the wash setting the same every time).  I like that there is a an express wash cycle that takes only 28 minutes, uses less water/energy and is less stressful on our clothes.  We use this setting for just about everything we wash.

We paid a sale price for the dryer, but the washer was over $900.  Would not have purchased these if we knew more about them.  We are concerned the shaking will limit the life of these appliances.  When we buy a washer and dryer again, we'll make sure we buy a brand that doesn't shake and works properly.
