God forbid some one testifies to congress that we can't set up shuttles cause we lost the recipe. After all, they'd probably swear by it.

Is there a single "Blizzard-splinter" studio that *has* done well? Serious question, not a flame. Whenever you see it mentioned that some studio is made up of former Blizzard staffers, there's this air of expectation over what they're going to unleash, and then 6-18 months later it's generally problems, shutdowns, layoffs. I'd like to hear slightly more uplifting news about these Blizzardian refugees!
I think Torchlight is the closest thing to a success story I've heard so far, and that game definitely fell under the banner of "you'll love it/hate it".
