LG reveals huge 12kg washing machine
01.09.11
LG has revealed its biggest function washing machine which can tackle a massive 12kg of laundry.
The new mould will be available from October but Which? got a sneak preview of it at consumer electronics show IFA 2011.
The cabal features special 'six motion Direct Drive' technology which means the drum can move your clothes around in six other ways – tumbling, rolling, stepping, filtration, scrubbing and fluctuate - and will choose the best combination based on the type of clothes you are washing.
Which? washing machines virtuoso Katie Hill comments: 'We've seen this six motion technology on smaller machines from LG, like the F1403YD6 washer-dryer that's at best back from our lab. It'll be interesting to see whether the variable drum movement affects spatter performance on larger loads when we get this LG model to our lab for testing.'
