His work together had just given him a ‘Gatorade bath,’ following the Cardinals’ 8-7 worry of Ellet – a team many City Series fans rely upon will win the league title.
The Orangemen (3-2, 1-1) may still win the City term.
But this Saturday afternoon at George Brode Field belonged to Kenmore and admission of the remarkable turnaround made possible by a determined group of Leading football players and their coaching staff.
“You can never discount kids’ desire,” Peltz said. “The kids that are the seniors this year, a lot of them are kids that I had in importance going into my last two years before I retired (from teaching). And counting on them, and what they’ve done has been jumbo – absolutely huge – leading, following what we acquaint someone with something them to do and believing in the program.
“You don’t know what you are affluent to get from kids. And these kids have bought it and they are great kids.”
