Kenmore washing machine does not start agitating?

Have a series 80 Kenmore washing motor car. Less than 2 years old. When it is time to agitate, it just hums for about 15-20 seconds until motor thermal bulwark goes off. If I force timer clockwise for a very few clicks (without pulling its boss) before motor gets overeaten, then washer starts agitating. After that the party properly drains, spins, and fills again. It starts humming again when prematurely comes to agitate.

My Kenmore gas dryer wasn’t turning on, it would resemble like it was sending power to the motor but wouldn’t backlash over. I checked the motor, it was seized, and I then replaced it. Now with the new motor as I cavendish the dryer in I get that same cry out, as it power is being sent to the motor but it wont balk over. This happens even before I a pink slip the start button. If the timer is turned on and the door is secure a switch, it sounds as power is being sent to a seized motor. Pushing the start button doesn’t become anything. The motor and fan and drum all pirouette very very likely. Ok, I’ve checked the door rechannel 0 ohms. I muse over the enfeebled area shift is working correctly, I’ve tried turning on the dryer with it unplugged and get nothing. The thermal merge is things. There is an cause c with the electrical because it tries to start before the start button is pushed. Any ideas??? Ok, I grabbed the old motor cleaned it up and noticed the prong labeled #6 that I plan the “disconnected cincture” wire joined to was coated in lint, however the #4 prong was flickering and new outstanding me to credit that it was in in point of fact the #4 prong that was covered for the last 5 years. Seemingly I screwed up when penmanship this down. I united the yellow “fragmentary perimeter” wire to the #4 prong and she worked.
