Bialetti Redesigns Its Popular Brikka Italian Stovetop Coffee Maker

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. (PRWEB) September 22, 2011

Bialetti , the unrivalled Italian coffee and cookware brand, introduces the newly designed Brikka stovetop coffee maker. The Brikka is part of Bialetti’s kinsmen of stovetop coffee makers, including the Moka, renowned for its iconic Italian draw up and noted so as a permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Latest Art (MOMA).

The Brikka revolutionizes the espresso making and drinking happening because of its patented pressure-controlled valve that regulates honest the right amount of pressure of water flowing through the coffee grounds to bring forward perfect froth, creating a richer-tasting coffee. The Brikka was redesigned with an cranny in the lid to allow air circulation into the valve which creates the perfect “crema” (cream-like lather).

With the Brikka, everyone can enjoy authentic espresso with “crema” merely like one from an Italian bar. The Brikka is available in 2-cup and 4-cup sizes starting at $54.95 at http://www.bialettishop.com or http://www.amazon.com .

Bosch TKA 2830 UC 900-Watt 12-Cup Coffeemaker, White | Single Cup ...

For those who are intimidated by complex home electronics, Bosch's basic 900-watt coffeemaker brews up to 12 cups of java and requires no programming besides flipping the power switch on. The unit has special brewing and aroma systems that bring out excellent flavor in coffee. Ground coffee goes in the nondrip insert filter, which takes No. 4 paper filters and removes easily for rinsing by hand or running through the dishwasher. A water-level indicator is visible from both sides of the coffeemaker for monitoring the number of cups that are brewing. Coffee brews through the closed lid of the included glass carafe without spilling, for more convenient serving. Removing the carafe during brewing activates the brewing pause feature, which prevents coffee from dripping until the carafe is back on its plate. The machine automatically shuts off after brewing for safety, and the thermal carafe keeps coffee warm. This compact unit stands 12-1/2 inches high, measures 7-1/2 inches wide, and is 9-3/4 inches deep, plus it features a cord rewind space on the back for storage. Bosch covers this model with a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde Over the last 8 years, I've purchased at least 5 coffee automatic drip coffee pots for my mom and for me. They have ranged from cheap to expensive. Expensive for me is in the $80 to $100 range. The last coffee pot I bought for my mom was a Melitta with the auto time set. While she loved the unit, it went to the coffee pot graveyard in just a little over a year when the heating unit burned out. A couple of my previous purchases were thermos-style units. My biggest complaints over all the coffee pots were (1) coffee not hot enough, (2) coffee didn't really taste that great, (3) pot not big enough, which happens most on thermos units, and (4) failure of the unit in too short a time, particularly for the more expensive units.

This time I decided to go for simple design, a larger container (12 cups instead of 10), a mid-range on...
