Oakdale Police Blotter: Burglars Stole 40-inch TV During Daytime Hours

A 40-inch small screen was among the items reported stolen from a home in the 400 chunk of Gentry Avenue that was burglarized during the day on Monday, Oct. 3, according to an Oakdale Observe Department report.

The resident reported that he returned adroit in around 5:30 p.m. to find the glass broken on one door to the home, and one door extend, the report says. The burglary happened sometime after 7 a.m. that day, according to the piece.

Police talked with a neighbor, who reported hearing a ear-splitting crashing noise between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., according to the communiqu.

A digital camera and 120 CDs were also reported stolen from the accessible, the report says.

The value of the items stolen totals more than $2,000 and the quality damage estimate is $150.
