I really want a French country kitchen. Where do I get this design or wallpaper for my kitchen?
I don't know if this is a stencil or wallpaper. I just got my first house with hubby a few months back an finally figured out what the style I was going for is. Hubby's well to do Grandmother died and left us a bunch of elegant sort of country things. We don't have money to waste. If I could figure out how to do this with wallpaper or stencil I would be so happy! Does anyone know how to do this and if it's something I can buy, where do I get it? It's the French word above the kitchen sink. Thanks so much!

I did and the images I got were all pretty similar to this one. I started thinking about this after going to a B&B called L'Auberge Provencale. It's a French B&B owned by a French couple. Since I've never gone to France, I couldn't tell you for sure if a French country kitchen should look like this. However google images seem to be consistent with this look. Anyhow I like this look anyway.
My debate isn't what kind of kitchen it is. I just really wanted to know how to do the wording.
I have been to England and do know this isn't an English Kitchen. Anyway the words are French. That being said I found this.

Thanks for your help!
Thank you so much Blue Violet. I didn't see your answer before I found the one site. I'm going to look at yours as well. Thanks Blue Violet for answering my question!
You can either free-hand paint, stencil, or use those peel-and-stick wall words (http://www.wallwords.com/). They can be pretty expensive, especially for larger ones. But you can design custom wall-words & they can be easily peeled down without ruining the wall.
If you want to stencil it, just use a stencil, some painter's tape to hold it in place, a stippling brush, and some inexpensive acrylic paint from a craft store. With a stippling brush, just gently pat on the color; don't rub or brush. You can use two or more shades for depth. You can find videos on stenciling on YouTube.
If you choose to free-hand paint, use a yardstick and a LIGHT pencil to mark straight lines so it doesn't come out crooked.
Good luck!

French country has desire been a acclaimed kitchen design variety. The frayed vigour and classic grandeur of a French country kitchen appeals to many people, from all types of backgrounds. The French country craze can also make known a toy bit of escapism into our lives- first attractive in a latitude like the kitchen, which we are in continuously and often to do not so bewitching tasks.
The French country incline in this kitchen is superficial through the stucco walls, painted in a muddled, matte decorative accomplish.
