Palm Seashore is, quite simply, a perfect vacation spot, jibe consent to Tom and Monica Hodge, who divide their time among several homes worldwide, including one on the Mediterranean cay of Cypress. But they have been coming to Palm Beach on holiday for 35 years.
“It’s a wonderful place to come with the grandchildren, and it’s a very nice existence,” Tom Hodge says.
“We love walking to the lido and along the Intracoastal Waterway. And we love driving to the local restaurants on the isle. In fact, although we often stay for weeks in Palm Beach, we find that we don’t retire the island because everything we want is right here.”
Their 1939 Bermuda-luxury home is at 201 Indian Road at the northern tip of the holm on a corner lot with deeded beach access. They bought the bordello about a half-dozen years ago and extensively renovated it to serve the needs of their family.
The main house has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, while in the separate guesthouse are two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchenette. That adds up to 4,149 right and proper feet of living space, inside and out.
