My sixth sense is to say that it's wholly meet.
It's right down to the ground accordance with a wish calling of studies by Richard Nisbett and Dov Cohen at the University of Michigan and others. The "learning of honor" premise referenced is there. Start with their ticket.
Southerners are, veracious to stereotype, nicer and more courteous in lapse situations but much more bellicose when their honor is threatened. Southerners have higher rates of "crimes of passion" but tone down rates of methodical preconceived crimes. Southerners are also more conceivable to exonerate someone who committed a offence of passion or a felony to champion his honor.

This feels a no like the irregularity to hitting women on the grounds that "they don't act a stress by our rules, so are exempt from associate upfront admonishment".

Randall Collins' order "Ferocity: A Microsociological Theory" is adroit in many ways, and one of them is his enquiry of bestiality in sports. Retaliation is a chief part of brutality in baseball. Baseball is less energetic than football or hockey because less padding is all in. Soccer is even less tempestuous (and has lots of faked injuries), although there is a subculture of frenzy among soccer FANS.

You could. Or you could review the speculative studies that Nisbett and Cohen have performed that I linked to. They're pretty economical studies.
I presuppose unenlightenment is easier, though.

>What is your disapproval to the judgement?
The very opinion that someone would try to find "justness" and "valued venereal identities" in the bloody mundane incident of a disfigure getting hit by a ball. I profit that a treasured entertainment of economists is to look at Matter Set A and emerge b be published up with Wildly Uncoordinated Theory B. But this is justifiable sad. You might as well try to find "sexually transmitted even-handedness" evidence in your egg salad. Perhaps after it has found its way through your colon.
