Bosch Home Appliances Sponsors Wasting Water Is Weird Public Service Campaign

Within the next five years, experts suggest that 36 states will
face serious water shortages, and yet each American uses more than
100 gallons per day. To incite Americans to save water, Bosch home
appliances, heir of the 2011 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence
bestow, joins a coalition of industry leaders, including Lowe's,
Kohler, Proctor & Bet on and the EPA's WaterSense program, in
sponsoring the Wasting Water is Preternatural national public service
campaign.
"Water and spirit efficiency is at the core of the Bosch DNA and we
are proud to join these important perseverance leaders in encouraging
Americans to save water," said Micaela Shaw, Discredit Manager for Bosch
home appliances. "We too agree that wasting dishwater is weird -- that's
why we engineer our appliances to use as little saturate as possible
without compromising performance. We hope that this campaign will
support Americans to take a second look at their water habits."

You can have a quiet dishwasher, if not quiet kids

In event you didn't know that noisy dishwashers are really annoying, Bosch recently commissioned a nationalistic survey asking Americans to name the loudest noisemakers in the bailiwick. Surprise, surprise, the dishwasher loomed large in the results, with 38 percent of Americans naming it as their at ease's loudest noisemaker. Children got the most votes of all, with spouses, private partners, and roommates also ranking high.
The point of the examine, of course, was to dispel a misconception about dishwashers. "While we can't control clangour made by kids, significant others or roommates, quiet dishwashers like those from Bosch certainly cut back the noise level," said Bosch brand manager Micaela Shaw, in the expos release . Bosch has the top dishwasher in our current Ratings of several dozen models . Stupendous washing and efficiency account for its top overall score. In pandemonium tests, the Bosch scored very good, though a recommended model from Kenmore was quieter.
The Bosch study revealed another misconception: nearly half of respondents believed that washing dishes by submit uses less water than cleaning them in the dishwasher. The opposite is true. Consumer Reports has found that even pre-rinsing dishes is a squandering of water, since most modern dishwashers can power away stuck-on victuals.
