I’ve had this dehydrator in storage for 3 years. I bought it the year my husband was ill and then subsequently passed away. I then packed up and moved across the country and still it sat on the storage shelf. Well I finally got it out last night and made 2-1/2 lbs of ground beef jerky. Wow!!! what a easy and fun process and the result is a great bag of chewy delicious jerky in my fridge! I plan to make this stuff as gifts for birthday and xmas! I love the square shape and the quality of this dehydrator. Top of the line!
This whole false advertising argument is based on an incorrect product description on amazon.com.
Had any of you arithmetic freaks had the sense to go research the product yourselves you would have realized that the mfg states “up to 12 sq feet of drying space”.

You can buy more trays for the unit. Thats right. Up to 20 trays can be used at a time.
