How do you use the Back to Basics egg, meat warmer, and toast maker? The cooking one?
We want to make something like an egg McMuffin, and we have the new Back to Basics appliance that cooks them all in one but we have no idea how to use it. HELP!
I LOVE our B.B.
The box comes with instructions and recipes booklet. Look through the paper and the box, hope you did not throw it away.
Here is how:
Place English muffin, bagel, bread, or croissant into the wide Toasting Slots.
Buy a box of Jimmy Dean frozen pre-cooked sausage patties (or other brand).
1. Add 2 tablespoons of water to Heating Tray.
2. Lightly coat Poaching Tray with cooking oil or non-stick cooking spray (keeps egg from sticking).
3. Add an egg to the Poaching Tray and break the yolk with a fork to spread yolk out. Wash with soap and water when finished.
4. Add the meat tray and place sausage in tray.
5. Place the lid on top.
6. Push the egg/toast button on the touch pad. The egg/toast button will flash red. Neither the egg cooking nor toasting processes will start until the carriage lever is locked down.
7. The egg button will illuminate and the toast button will begin to flash.
The egg poaching function takes longer, so it starts first. The toasting function is programmed to start later so the egg and toast will finish at about the same time.
(the other item with the larger holes is for boiled eggs only)
